Remembering Ukraine
Has everyone forgotten about the Ukrainians who have been fighting for over two years for their lives, country and democracy? The Ukrainian/Russian war seems to be on the back burner these days. So, did a cargo plane filled with US$60 billion arrive in Ukraine to support conspiracy theories? No! The US is only sending $60 billion worth of U.S.-manufactured military arms, ammunition and equipment to Ukraine.

We haven’t forgotten.
Picking on Pierre
Not to belabour the point, but again we see the predominating Liberal bias and influence of the media. Following the dust-up over the “wacko prime minister” labelling in the House of Commons, much of the anti-Conservative media continued to report Pierre Poilievre was ejected from the House for refusing to withdraw his unparliamentary remark. While he did refuse several requests from the Speaker, on the final time Poilievre was clearly heard to say, “I withdraw the comment and substitute with the aforementioned adjectives.” While perhaps not the most elegant or sincere withdrawal, he did in fact use the word “withdraw.” Yet the Liberal-biased media mostly reported — incorrectly — that Poilievre did not withdraw the comment. He did! Furthermore, rather than accept that and move on to defuse the situation, the “non-impartial” Speaker compounded and inflamed things by then “naming” Poilievre and ejecting him from the chamber. While not defending Poilievre’s tactics, it is clear Fergus learned nothing from his “congratulatory message video” incident, while wearing his Speaker’s robe, about being impartial.

The whole thing is just disappointing.
Assembly line food
The cost of buying a fast-food meal today is ridiculous. An assembly-line burger, a handful of fries, and a watered-down soda should not cost a penny more than five bucks. Consumers are being totally ripped off and the only way it’s ever going to stop is if we all stop buying. Let’s all force ourselves into the habit of always making our own simple meals at home and stop allowing big businesses to take our hard-earned money.
Donna Miller
It’s a laudable idea, but won’t gain traction because, though pricier, the convenience is hard to pass on.
