Disappointed in Parliament
Poilievre being expelled from the house is the kettle calling the pot black. Trudeau calls him spineless and Poilievre calls Trudeau wacko and only one leader gets reprimanded. That isn’t free speech and democracy, how wonderful in the House of Commons. The house speaker Steve Erkel sides with his favourite PM, shame on him. The parliament should hang their heads over this one and the Canadian people will remember the favouritism shown to the Liberal party and the PM.
Ken Uhren
We’re hoping you’re right, but so many forgot the Liberal’s failings last election.
We’ve been Trudeau’d
We have just received our “carbon rebate” in our account. As residents in a rural area, we were expecting to get a 20% bonus, but only received 10%! Have we been Trudeau’d again? Promised last fall when he did the furnace oil carve out, but once again not delivering on his promises. You can’t bribe us with our own money if you don’t give it to us.
Larry McGuire
The whole country has been Trudeau’d.
Contrast in character
The contrast is stunning. Freedom Convoy protesters honking horns and blocking less than a dozen blocks for a month are arrested, had their bank accounts frozen, held in jail without bail. Pro-Hamas protesters, meanwhile, tussle with law enforcement, attack places of worship and Jewish-owned business, block hospital entrances and call for the destruction and elimination of Israel. The response: Everyone has a right to protest. Few arrests and mostly crickets from our politicians.
Mark David Fienberg
It’s shameful and it’s high time something is done about. At minimum, enforce the law.
Hiding the debt
The game plan for the Trudeau team is to “inject more economic fairness” for those under 40. Truth be told, what Trudeau won’t provide is any fairness or honesty to those under 40, or anyone else for that matter. Someone has to pay the piper and I’ll bet you day-old Timmies, Trudeau will never tell Gen Z or millennials that they’re the ones who are going to have to pay the freight on the hundreds of billions he’s racked up in debts?
Paul Baumberg
Surely, under the Trudeau Liberals, the debt will take care of itself.
